Lucknow. The weather is changing amidst severe cold in Uttar Pradesh. The weather took a turn in the capital Lucknow since late night. Light rain started after midnight and continued intermittently till morning. In many areas of UP the sky is cloudy and cold winds are also blowing. After the first rain of the season (Lucknow rain), there is a feeling of chill.
According to the Meteorological Department, this change has happened due to western disturbance. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 16 districts. Cloud movement continued in many areas of the state on Monday. Light drizzle also occurred at one or two places. On the other hand, on Tuesday, a warning of rain and lightning has been issued in many cities of UP.
The effect of western disturbance will continue in Uttar Pradesh till December 28. The Meteorological Department estimates that today the maximum temperature of Lucknow is likely to be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 10 degrees. There is a feeling of chill after the first rain of the season.
The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many districts of UP for the next 2 days. These districts include Aligarh, Saharanpur, Shamli, Amroha, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Baghpat, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Bijnor, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Muzaffarnagar of Western UP. The Meteorological Department had predicted a change in the weather from Monday. Clouds had gathered since late Sunday night. Even in the morning it was cloudy and the sun did not appear.
