Multimillionaire Chahid Charrak tore on the A28 in his Lamborghini on Saturday evening at 250 kilometers per hour. That cost the 32-year-old man from Zeewolde dearly. He lost both his driver’s license and his gold-colored car.
Charrak, known online as ‘Dutch Performante’, whizzed over the asphalt between Assen and Beilen and was stopped there by the police. After the legal corrections, a speeding violation of 96 kilometers per hour remained. And so the very wealthy entrepreneur had to hand in his driver’s license.
As a child, Charrak only got his lacing diploma. Today he owns six companies in the plumbing and tile industry, drives a gold Lamborghini and lives in a large villa. His YouTube videos are viewed 100,000 times a week.
Taking the driver’s license turned out to be easier said than expected, because Charrak didn’t have his pink card in his pocket. That’s why agents confiscated his Lamborghini. “Well, it can happen,” Charrak writes on Instagram.
The Zeewolde resident saw how his very expensive sports car was removed by a salvage company. “Well, here we are on the street,” he told his Instagram followers apparently laconically.
,,Own fault. I should have had my driver’s license with me,” he continued. Moments later, Charrak was picked up by his father.
Charrak will get the car back as soon as the driver’s license is received. The police expect that this will not take long, given the value of the vehicle. The Lamborghini Huracán Perfomante has a price tag of about 322,000 euros.
Ultimately, the public prosecutor decides on the sentence.
