Companies post fake job vacancies for different reasons.

A ghost job is the name in which companies are called. job offers that are active on the internet for months and apparently never find a worker to fill the position. The thing is, sometimes the job doesn’t even exist.
The company Clarify Capital conducted a survey of more than a thousand managers and discovered that 60% of the job offers they publish on the internet remain active for more than a month, some being active for up to three months.
In addition, one in ten managers left an active job offer online for more than six months.
The most common reason for leaving a vacancy active for a long time is that companies have not really found the ideal candidate to fill the position, although there are managers who have confessed that many times the jobs do not exist.
And it is that, of the managers surveyed, 43% said one of the reasons they kept job openings open was to give the impression that the company was constantly growing.
Another 43% also said they were leaving job offers open to ‘incentivise’ current employees.
Also, 34% of managers said they kept job offers open to quiet complaints from employees who complained that they were overworked.
In other words, almost half of the managers surveyed said that their company published job offers with the intention of reinforcing the image of their company or to Giving your current employees false hope that they will soon have help.
