There is, however, a special consideration for Shakira’s first love, since it inspired her, at the age of 18, to publish the album “Pies descalzos” (1995). Three years have passed since she ended her relationship with Oscar Ulloa for the Colombian to compose the song “Anthology”.

Ulloa was featured on the “Shakipedia” podcast, hosted by Cally and Sam. On the show, two fans of the artist examined the lyrics of the transgenerational song “Antología”. They relapsed into the fact that the Colombian was less than 17 years old when she wrote it and that, taking account, it was Óscar the love she spoke about.
This was also confirmed by the Colombian newspaper “El tiempo” in 2021. The “Shakipedia” program assured, as a result of a conversation with Shakira’s aunt, Patricia Ripoll, that Ulloa was her “first boyfriend.”
According to his inquiries, Ulloa was the one who ended the relationship with the then-nascent singer. He made the decision, as they said on the show, not to interfere with her musical development.
