Team India head coach Rahul Dravid fell ill. So he left Kolkata alone for Bangalore. In fact, Dravid along with the Indian team and support staff is also supposed to leave for Thiruvananthapuram today evening. Meanwhile, the head coach, who is suffering from illness, left for his hometown Bangalore early on Friday morning.

It seems that Rahul suffered from BP problem during the second ODI against Sri Lanka. With this, the Cricket Association of Bengal doctors examined Dravid on Thursday. Dravid, who turned 50 on January 11, will meet doctors in Bangalore and undergo preliminary health tests. A netizen named BV Mallikarjuna Rao tweeted a picture of Rahul Dravid on the plane.

When it comes to the India and Sri Lanka ODI series, India, who have already won two matches, have won the series with one more match to go. The titular third ODI will be played in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. Dravid is likely to meet the team before the start of this match. India scored 373 runs in the first ODI held at Guwahati and won by 67 runs.

Team India’s bowlers limited Lanka to 215 runs in the second ODI. Kuldeep Yadav, who replaced Chahal, took 3 wickets including captain Shanaka. With KL Rahul scoring a half century, India won the Kolkata ODI by 4 wickets. It is known that Team India won the T20 series against Sri Lanka by 2-1.
