If you drink soda
Drinking soda or soda-like drinks after a meal can help reduce the urge to overeat. Also, it helps in reducing stomach upset after eating. However, when we consume soda, the gas that builds up in the stomach goes away and our stomach gets some temporary relief. However, if you drink soda, the gas does not go away from the stomach, but it increases the gas.
Complications due to increased gas
If there is gas in the stomach, especially if we have too much gas after eating, it causes the stomach to become distended. This kind of stomach rumbling can cause you to feel like you’re gasping for air.
Apart from this, severe abdominal pain is more likely to occur. The cord can be torn and tied, causing pain that can make it impossible to sit or lie down. Similarly, some people are more likely to experience problems like heartburn, constipation, belching, back pain and sometimes a heaviness in the chest.
what to drink
If you have a heavy meal then it is better to drink some warm water after the meal. Similarly, be careful not to drink water between meals. Also, it is better not to consume things like juice after a meal. Eating cumin seeds after meals helps in reducing stomach gas. Or drinking ginger juice is good. It is also good to eat fennel seeds.
Be careful while eating
Care should be taken never to overeat. Many eat food on a full stomach. This leads to bloating, obesity as well as digestive problems. Therefore, care should be taken to drink water as well as food in such a way as to provide equal amount of food. You should also take care to eat good healthy food.
