Anyone who regularly goes to Costco knows that it is very likely that they will end up spending a little more than they had planned. And it is that the wholesale prices often offered at the famous department store can be hard to resist.
If you want to know if you spend more than other Costco partners, you should know that, according to the analysis firm Numerator, the average Costco customer spends about $100 for each visit to the store.
Also, the average customer goes to the store every two weeks, which is about 30 times a year, as reported by Yahoo.
The Numerator study also revealed that the customers who go to Costco the most are Asian-Americans between the ages of 35 and 44.
In addition, the average client earns more than $125,000 per year.
People tend to shop at Costco because buying some items in bulk can be cheaper than buying individually.
In fact, it is possible to save up to 40% on groceries when shopping this way.
This is particularly common in large families with high incomes. And it is that making wholesale purchases is not possible for all families.
Although most people spend around $100 when they shop at Costco, don’t worry if you spend more than that amount. No matter how much you spend or how often you shop there, remember that these are just averages.
