A tragic incident took place in district Thorrur. An RTC conductor did it in the bus where he was on duty. An RTC conductor named Mahender Reddy from Kanthayapalem in Thorrur Mandal is working at Thorrur Depot. He attended work on Sunday as usual. However.. around eleven o’clock in the morning.. Mahender Reddy, who signed the duty register, went to the depot. But.. never came back. As Mahender Reddy did not come out for a long time, the security personnel got suspicious. The entire depot looked to see what had happened. When he was nowhere to be seen… Mahender Reddy was seen hanging in the bus where he was on duty, wrapped in towels. The security personnel conveyed this matter to the depot officials. They told the police about Mahender’s suicide. The police immediately reached the depot and registered a case on the incident. The police have started an investigation as to why Mahender Reddy committed suicide. However, the police are investigating whether he committed suicide due to personal reasons or forced death due to pressure from superiors. However.. he sacrifices his life in the bus where he is on duty every day which shocks everyone. However, the reasons that led to his suicide are not yet known. But.. Mahender Reddy’s family members are alleging that he committed suicide due to pressure from the authorities. And to what extent it is true remains to be seen.
