Three weeks after the death of Diego Bertie, on August 5, many wonder what will happen to the songs he recorded, the album he was about to release and the films he performed with his colleagues and friends. In this note, we tell you what will happen to one of the projects that he left halfway through.
Days before the fateful accident, the Peruvian actor recorded —together with actress Katia Condos— several scenes from the movie “Single, married, widowed, divorced”, the new national comedy written and directed by Ani Alva Helfer; and that could finish being recorded last Monday, August 15.

Many did not know if
Diego Bertie whether or not he finished recording his scenes. A few days ago, in the “Love and fire” program, Rossana Fernández Maldonado touched on the subject. According to the actress, the actor who left at the age of 54 did not complete the project and the director was looking at how to solve the script so that the gap in the film that will be released in April of next year is not noticed.
“Diego had recorded the beginning and ending scenes of his character, and they are looking at how to fix the story in the middle to eliminate his scenes. Nor are they going to put another actor. They will not be made again (the recordings). Yes, Diego is going to appear in the movie,” said the host of “Surprise yourself.”
Diego Bertie will appear in the film
However, Ani Alva Helfer denied that the actor had left the project halfway. “Diego did finish the story. In fact, the most important thing that he had to record happened in Pacasmayo and it was done in that first week of filming, ”said the filmmaker in conversation with La República.
“It’s not that he recorded the beginning and the end. He is a major character in the movie. In fact, she is the ex-partner of Katia Condos’s character (the ‘divorced’ in the film). It was fun recording with them. I did not know Diego, I only met him on the set, “added the director of the telenovela” Maricucha “, who did admit that she only had to record one scene, but that in the end she was able to solve it without problems.
He recorded with his ex-partner
“Single, married, widowed, divorced” is a Peruvian film starring Milene Vázquez, Patricia Portocarrero, Gianella Neyra and Katia Condos, who in addition to being Diego Bertie’s ex-partner in the movie, was also in real life.
In an interview with Verónica Linares, the artist who died after falling from a building spoke about his role in “Single, married, widowed, divorced.” “We are a former couple who meet again after many years (…). She unites them by the fact that they are going to have a grandson. It is like the meeting of these two characters who are separated when they are young, but who meet again to be grandparents”, Bertie explained.
In this conversation, Diego Bertie spoke of the short romance, but emphasized his friendship with Katia Condos. He even attended the marriage of the actress with Federico Salazar. “With Katia, we have studied together, we even fell in love when we were chibolos (young people). I have known her since school”, narrated the interpreter of “How difficult it is to love”.
