Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu said that late NT Rama Rao was the person who radically changed politics after becoming a film actor. TDP chief Chandrababu participated in NTR’s 27th death anniversary program at TDP central office in Amaravati. On this occasion, he paid tribute to NTR’s idol by placing flowers. Later, Chandrababu said that he met NTR for the first time during the shooting of the movie Anuragadevata. He said that NTR had commented on public service in his first meeting.
Chandrababu said that NTR’s inspiration has also set an example for future generations. Chandrababu said that NTR is the leader who said ‘Society is a temple.. People are my gods’. If NTR thought that politics was for him then, people should think what would happen to the Telugu nation. They said that NTR has given them the spirit of questioning strongly.. Now with the same spirit, they want to question the anarchies and destructions being done by Jagan’s government. Chandrababu questioned why the police did not provide security if so many people came to Kandukur that the police did not give permission if the TDP leaders held a meeting.
Chandrababu was angry that Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy is trying to bring Jio number 1 and trample the opposition. He said that if NTR gives self-respect to the Telugu people, he has worked to move ahead with self-confidence in the future. He said that the Rs 2 kg rice scheme brought by NTR has now become a food security scheme in the country. Chandrababu explained that NTR is credited with taking leaders like Yanamala Ramakrishnu into the cabinet at the age of 29.
