The new voice chat feature is more user friendly than the existing group chat feature. This is because, unlike the group chat feature that rings every member in the group, voice chat is initiated silently without ringing the recipient of the message. It has notification and in-chat bubble instead of ringing. It allows users to join a group.
Furthermore, voice chat allows users to continue using the application. That is, it allows instant live chat with group chat members while being able to send messages within the group. This feature allows you to unmute, hang up, or send a message to a group without leaving the voice chat by accessing the call controls at the top of the chat.
