Where to wear a mask? Qatar Ministry of Health with proposal

Doha: The Qatari Ministry of Health has come out in support of the need to wear a face mask in the country amid the confirmation of the presence of Omicron in Qatar and the increase in Kovid cases. Qatar had given concessions on wearing masks in several places in the Kovid low situation. The ministry says there is now a growing demand for masks in open areas in the event of an Omicron outbreak.

Visitors to shopping malls, churches, schools, offices and public transport must wear the mask. Authorities also said that masks should be worn at weddings, funerals and churches, and that social distance should be strictly observed.

Although masks are not mandatory in open areas, authorities have suggested that masks may be needed in some areas. Masks should be worn at events, exhibitions, and events in markets and public places.

Everyone who is engaged in work that requires constant contact with customers should wear a mask. Security guards, hotel staff and drivers should all wear masks. The mask should be worn in situations where it is not possible to keep a safe distance from others. If you are on the list of those who can not be vaccinated, you should wear a mask when you go out. Also, the mask should be worn by the elderly and those with chronic diseases.
