The national beach soccer team achieved its second successive victory in the Asian Cup, after defeating the Malaysia national team with a score (5-3) in the match that brought them together yesterday at Jamtim Arena in the Thai city of Pattaya, and the Iranian national team was able to defeat the Uzbekistan national team with a score (11). -2), in the second round of the second group competitions.
The goals of the national team were scored by Ali Al-Mohammadi (two goals), Ahmed Bishr, Walid Bishr and Abdullah Abbas
The first round witnessed the victory of White Beach over Uzbekistan (4-0), and Iran over Malaysia (14-5).
The national team and the Iranian team secured qualification for the quarter-finals of the Asian Championship after they reached the sixth point, while the hopes of the Malaysian and Uzbek teams to qualify faded after their losses in the first and second rounds.
Al-Abyad will meet Iran tomorrow, while Malaysia will face Uzbekistan in the third and final round of the group stage.
The first two teams from each of the four groups qualify for the quarter-finals, whose matches will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, provided that the two semi-final matches will be held on the 25th, knowing that the final match will be held on the 26th of this month.
