This is no stranger to the artistic world, where even up-and-coming singers like Saico They have been part of this unfortunate scourge that does not seem when to end.
The young chichero has been reaping success in recent months, as each of his presentations is sold out, which is why he has been dubbed the ‘King of the Cones’. However, this has been overshadowed by the various threats he has received and even the attack he suffered during one of his last shows and which could end his life.

Who is Saico, the new king of chicha?
Born and raised in the hills of Independencia, Sair Fabrizio Valencia, better known as Saico, has made a name for himself in Peruvian chicha at his young age. The young artist gave an extensive interview to the program ‘On the sixth day’ where he revealed little-known details of his life. According to his own words, the artist was already emerging in this world from a very young age, because at the age of 10 he already sang and trained his voice in every corner of his house.
His mother corroborated this version by pointing out that since childhood he played with branches and sticks, simulating these as if it were a microphone. However, at the beginning he wanted to dedicate himself fully to urban music, but after he opened a bar he realized that people liked the so-called chicha more. Today, the young vocalist has managed to earn a place in music and thanks to his perseverance he managed to form the group ‘Saico y la nueva generación de él’ with which he tours the most populous districts of all of Peru.
Has Saico been a victim of extortion?
But in Saico’s career, not everything is good news, because in recent months he has been the victim of threats by extortionists, who even attacked him during a presentation in Rímac at the end of last July and in his own car. .
According to his own words, the vehicle in which he was traveling was shot at when his mother, brother, and cousin were inside. Luckily, no one was injured. Another similar event occurred during one of his shows in the Rimense district at the end of July, which ended in a hellish shooting.
There are two versions of this fact that circulate on social media. The first ensures that it was spectators of the same concert who fired shots into the air without the intention of harming anyone. However, the second specifies that it was the usual extortionists who wanted to attack the singer, since he has refused to pay the quotas that these unscrupulous people demand thanks to the success of his group.
“I am afraid for my family, as I tell you, they work with me: my father, my mother, my brothers, and I am afraid that (a bullet) will also fall on me,” he said before the Panamericana cameras.
