Who Is The Comic Mostrito De La Risa And What Is His Incredible Story Of Overcoming?

Street comedy is an important part of the recreation of Peruvians who visit the Center of Lima, especially the iconic Chabuca Granda boulevard. Some of the most popular are those that make up the cast of the Chinese Laughter, among them stands out Luis Alberto Muñoz, better known as the Mostrito de la Risa, who thanks to his charisma, interpretation of characters and his peculiar face, excites dozens of people who enjoy his show. However, his life was not easy and, to get to where he is, he lived passages marked by indifference, poverty and vices.

In most skits, his teammates make fun of his face; however, he takes it in a sporting way and assures that it does not affect him. “I’m used to it, they will say it because of my face because I’m a little mistreated. I don’t have a complex because I’m not the only ugly one, ”he commented in an interview for“ On the sixth day ”.

The Mostrito de la Risa had a difficult life

Luis Alberto Muñoz Rochabrun experienced poverty and loneliness from a very early age, since his parents abandoned him and he ended up in the care of his grandmother. At the age of 13, he decided to leave home to live on the streets, there he learned about his vices. For more than five years he slept in squares and outside various churches, where he also begged.

The beloved Mostrito de la Risa also revealed that his father was never interested in forming a paternal bond. “When I needed him, he didn’t shake my hand”, he said and stressed that he only gave him a few soles and fruits from time to time. Despite the zero opportunities he had to get ahead, he mentioned that his biggest dream was to become a comedian and, over time, he achieved it.

The new life of the Mostrito de la Risa with Chino Risas

The popular 42-year-old comedian managed to change his life after meeting Chino Risas, who welcomed him and invited him to be part of his team. “My heart is full of love and joy because I like what I do and I make a lot of people laugh,” added Mostrito. It should be noted that, thanks to his work, the humorist managed to obtain his own home in San Juan de Lurigancho.
