To be eligible for the program, individuals had to be 18 years old by January 1, 2022, live in certain Minneapolis ZIP codes that qualify for the program, and have an annual income equal to or less than 50% of the median income for the program. city.

Under the program, eligible families in Minneapolis will receive guaranteed $500 stimulus checks each month for two years, from June 2022 to June 2024.
In the 200 households that will receive the money, there are 69% women and 26% men.
In terms of race, there are 80.5% African American, Native American, and people of color, and 19.5% are White/Non-Hispanic.
The beneficiaries are between 18 and 88 years of age, with the average age being 38 years.
