The first round of three June Social Security payments, worth up to $4,555, will be sent to millions of retirees the following weekaccording to the Social Security calendar.
The money will be sent on June 14, which is the second Wednesday of the month, to people born between the 1st and 10th of each month. Monthly payments are made on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday of each month.
The next payment will be sent to retirees on June 21, one week later, and will go to people born between the 11th and 20th of any month.
The last disbursement will be made on June 28, which is the last Wednesday of the monthand will go to those born after the 21st of any month.
The amount of money each beneficiary receives differs based on their age at retirement.
People who retire at age 62 receive monthly payments of up to $2,572. Those who retire at age 67 receive a maximum payment of $3,627 and those who wait until age 70 get the highest amount of up to $4,555 per month.
