Mathura. After a dispute at night in Mohalla Lohavan of the city under Jamunapar police station area of Mathura, the wife killed her husband by hitting him on the head with a silk-batta. After the incident, the woman was cleaning blood stains in the courtyard of the house. There was bleeding in the drain. When the neighboring women saw the dead body lying outside the house, there was a sensation.
The police have taken the wife into custody and have also recovered blood stained clothes of the deceased. In this case, the relatives have filed an application against the wife and her cousins. The woman has also been accused of having a love affair with a young man from her village. He alleged that Ashok was murdered by his wife on Thursday night.
Ashok Jatav, resident of Lohavan, was married 14 years ago to Bharti Devi, resident of Arela, Jalesar Road, Agra. Bharti also has two sons. Ashok used to do painting work. Ashok’s father Manohar Singh told that Ashok used to have disputes with his wife every day. It was alleged that Bharti was having an affair with a young man from her village. Many times the maternal side was called and explained to both of them but they did not agree.
Neighbors told that the TV was playing at high volume in the house till late night. In the morning, when a woman came out to investigate, Ashok’s body was lying on the pavement and blood was flowing from the body. Whereas, his wife Bharti was mopping the house inside the house and blood was flowing from the drain. In the postmortem report, the cause of Ashok’s death has been found to be head injury. The accused wife has been arrested.
