The recent controversy between Magaly Medina and Milett Figueroa has captured the public’s attention, especially after Martha Valcárcel, mother of the former reality girl, defended her daughter after the accusations made by the renowned Peruvian journalist on the Argentine program ‘Morning Angels (LAM) ‘. Magaly, known for her direct and controversial style, launched strong criticism towards Milett, which led Martha to respond forcefully and warn about possible legal repercussions.
The situation intensified when Magaly suggested that Milett Figueroa is famous only for her scandals, which sparked the indignation of Martha, who did not hesitate to question the host’s motivation in her attacks. “Be careful, Magaly, it’s going to get to you,” he warned, emphasizing the defense of his daughter’s dignity.

In a recent interview with Radio Panamericana, Martha Valcárcel did not hold back when talking about Magaly Medina’s accusations. Martha also revealed that both she and Milett saw Magaly’s intervention in LAM, where the latter tried to discredit the career of the young model and actress. “Yesterday on LAM she came out shorn,” Martha commented, adding that Magaly hoped that everyone on the program would agree with her criticism. Milett’s mother made it clear that she will not remain silent and that she considers defamation and slander to be serious issues that could lead to a lawsuit. “He spoke about my daughter’s dignity and that carries a prison sentence,” he warned.
Furthermore, ‘Doña Martita’ revealed that she has received numerous questions from people about why she does not act legally against Magaly. “It is one thing to criticize their participation, but another to mess with their dignity,” he said. She stated that, as a mother, she will not allow this type of attacks to continue, also mentioning the case of Jefferson Farfán, who has requested the revocation of effective imprisonment. “Be careful Magaly, it’s going to get to you,” he repeated with emphasis.
Martha Valcárcel also highlighted that Milett is in a good moment in his career, actively participating in his role as a jury for ‘Cantando’. “Milett is working hard on her project,” he said, revealing that his daughter is dedicating time to the participants’ rehearsals, costumes, and presentations. This statement underlines Milett’s determination to move forward, despite the controversies.

What did Magaly Medina say in ‘LAM’?
On September 25, Magaly Medina appeared on the Argentine entertainment program ‘LAM’, where she took the opportunity to openly criticize Milett Figueroa. The host did not hesitate to remember a scandal from the past in which Milett was linked to a married man, an issue that, according to Magaly, has followed the model throughout her career. “Milett only has a history of scandal,” he asserted.

Magaly insinuated that Milett’s career on television has not been legitimate and suggested that the model has used her beauty in questionable ways. This statement generated immediate reactions from the LAM panelists, who defended Milett, questioning the veracity of Magaly’s accusations. Yanina Latorre, one of the show’s most prominent figures, argued that Milett’s past should not influence his current success in the media. “Let’s separate things, what does it have to do with having a career in the media or whether I work well or poorly?” he said.
The discussion became heated, with other panelists supporting Milett’s defense. “There is no evidence”, “I don’t like it”, and “And if it were, I applaud her”, were some of the phrases that resonated in the program, reflecting the division of opinions regarding Magaly Medina’s statements.
