Will the Moroccan national team meet its Algerian counterpart in a friendly match?
The question is justified by what Algerian media is reporting about the intention of Walid Regragui, coach of the Atlas Lions, to prepare for the finals of the African Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Ivory Coast, by holding two friendly matches with the strongest African teams, suggesting that including the Algerian team.
The Algerian newspaper “Fennec Football” included the “Desert Foxes” as one of the teams that the national voter wants to play a friendly match against, in preparation for the 34th edition of the African Cup, scheduled to start in mid-January.
According to the same source, Walid Regragui informed the Royal Moroccan Football Federation of his intention to play two matches against first-class African teams, namely the teams of Senegal, Egypt, Ivory Coast and Algeria, and that the Algerian team is a strong candidate to play a friendly match with the Atlas Lions in a neutral stadium!!!
