The winners will get Rs 7 lakh as first prize, Rs 5 lakh as second prize and Rs 3 lakh as third prize. In addition, Rs 2 lakh each will be awarded to the other two teams that have reached the final stage. Apart from this, the last five teams that reach the finals also get a golden opportunity to get a job at UST.
Team Oersted Corp from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee won the first prize. Team Meta4 from Sreechitra Tirunal College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram and Team GAAD from Thiruvananthapuram College of Engineering secured the second and third positions respectively. Special mentions went to the Black Mirror2.1 team from National Institute of Technology – Silchar, Indian Institute of Technology and Laxmichit Fund, Roorkee.

The fifth annual technology conference is preceded by a week-long event that includes a 24-hour hackathon, a technology expo, and various lectures, culminating with the full-day conference on December 15. UST Chief Executive Officer Krishna Sudhindra will deliver the keynote address at the conference. Prominent digital strategists who will be guest speakers at the event will include Zach Peister, Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer of Intrepid Ventures and Anshul Rastagi, Founder of Totality Corporation. The panel discussion will be moderated by Shalu Jhunjhunwala, Director, Professional Services, Google India. UST Chief Technology Officer Niranjan Ramsundar, Chief Innovation Architect Kuruvila Mathew, Head of Design David Thorpe, Head of Cloud Advisory Rick Clark, Head of Global Blockchain Daniel Field and Head of Technology Services Varghese Cherian will lead the various phases of the event.
