A woman, named Chandler West, revealed in a TikTok video that she managed to sell an old bag for more than $9,000.. Most surprising of all, though, the item only cost him $1 to get.
In a TikTok video she posted, her reactions can be seen as the bag goes up for auction fetching ever higher prices.
According to The Cool Down, West says she came across the 1920s Cartier bag two years ago while shopping online. When he bought it, he had no idea how much it was worth.
West said she looked up more information about the bag online and realized she had found a real treasure.
At auction, the bag had an asking price of $2,000.. In the end, the luxurious item came to the sum of $9,450 dollars.
Some of the second-hand items that can end up worth a lot of money are paintings, kitchen utensils, small appliances, books, jewelry, and items from other eras.
Some of the TikTok users were surprised by how much money West ended up making and they were interested in selling some of their stuff that they thought might be worth a lot of money too.
