Chennai: MOP at Nungambakkam, Chennai. Vaishnava College organizes inter-collegiate Waspo sports competition for women every year. This competition was not held for the last 2 years due to the corona virus.
This year’s Women’s Inter-College Waspo Games will be held on the 16th and 17th at T. G. Vaishnava College, Arumbakkam, Chennai. There is no entry fee for participating teams.
6 sports are conducted namely Volleyball, Basketball, Chess, Badminton, Ball Badminton and Table Tennis. The top 3 teams in volleyball and basketball competitions will be awarded Rs.15,000, Rs.10,000 and Rs.5,000 respectively. Ball Badminton tournament will get Rs.10,000, Rs.7,000 and Rs.5000 respectively. Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton for first 3 places Rs. 5000, Rs.3000, Rs.2000 prize money will be given.
