In a viral video, TikTok user Gisselle Montero (@babyg.888) claimed her boss posted her job title on Indeed, a popular job classifieds site, after she was hospitalized from multiple gunshot wounds.
She wrote in a text overlay on the video: “When I was on medical leave and I sent my boss all my medical notes because I got shot 8 times and was left with a broken shoulder, multiple gunshot wounds and couldn’t walk for a month. and my coworker sent me a screenshot of my work posted on done.
Montero uploaded several clips explaining the shooting in which she was involved.
She said her boyfriend’s stepfather shot her eight times on Black Friday in 2022. She initially thought the man shot her with a BB gun and she pretended to be dead after the first bullet hit her.
After hearing him come upstairs, Montero called 911 and informed them of the attack. When police arrived on the scene, Robert Lechtanski, 62, had committed suicide and killed his wife, Debbie.
The Local News Outlet WNDU news portal reported on the murder-suicide. Montero, Debbie and Lechtanski were the only people shot in the incident.. There were two other people in the house who were fortunately unharmed in Lechtanski’s attack.

TikTok users who saw the post urged the TikToker to seek legal advice, particularly for a wrongful termination lawsuit.
Montero responded that she and several co-workers were considering suing, since they already had other negative experiences with the company.
According to various legal regulations, companies cannot terminate a worker’s contract while they are on medical leavenor can they fire a worker if it can be proven that the causes of their termination were directly affected or related to medical reasons.
