Mumbai: Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets in the 7th match of the current Women’s Premier League season. Mumbai team continues its winning streak by winning the first three matches of the current season.
Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat and were all out for 105 runs in 18 overs. Meg Lanning, the captain of the team, scored 43 runs. Jemima Rodriguez scored 25 runs. All others lost their wickets by short runs. Mumbai chased down the easy target of winning by 106 runs.
This match is the most anticipated match of the current season. Because both these teams had won their first two matches. The team that wins this match will advance to the top spot in the points table. That is the reason for the expectation. But, the Mumbai team’s bowling was tremendous in this match. Saika Ishaq, Wong and Hailey Mathews were amazing with three wickets each.
