WPL | RCB end 5-match losing streak: Delhi win in last over

Mumbai: Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost 5 matches in a row in the current Women’s Premier League season. Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore played in the 11th match of the current season. Delhi won this match in the last over.

Delhi won the toss and opted to bowl. Batting first, Bengaluru scored 150 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Ellis Perry scored 67 off 52 balls. His innings included 4 fours and 5 sixes. Richa Ghosh scored 37 runs off 16 balls.

Delhi Capitals chased down the target of 151 runs. Meg Lanning and Shabali Verma didn’t get off to a great start. However, Alice Capsey, Jemima Rodrigues, Marissan Gabe and Jess Jonassen played responsibly. The team needed 9 runs in the last over to win. 12 runs off the first four balls of that over to win. Jays scored 29 runs off just 15 balls. He also won the player of the match award.

RCB Series Defeat: The Bengaluru team has played five matches so far in the current Women’s Premier League cricket season. The team has lost all five of these matches. Losing against Delhi (twice), Mumbai, Gujarat and UP Warriors. It can be seen that the fans are saying in the social media posts that the team is not able to win even if it is a good team. Let’s hope RCB wins the next match.
