The Wydad Athletic Football Team achieved a valuable victory with a clean goal, at the expense of its guest Club Salmi, in a match that took place this evening, Thursday, on the field of the Mohammed V Complex, for the third round of the professional championship competitions.
During the first round, the “Red” team put strong pressure on the operations field, looking to open the result, but without most of the attacks posing a threat to the opponent, while the Salmi Club contented itself with standing back, adopting counterattacks.
Wydad Sports Club continued its search for opening the score on more than one occasion, but the final touch was absent in front of the goal.
In the 85th minute, Zakaria Al-Darawi was able to score the only winning goal for the Red Team.
With this victory, Wydad Sports Club raised its score to 6 points, from two victories and a defeat, while Salmi Club’s score froze at 6 points.
