New Delhi. Smartphone maker Vivo on Saturday launched its new ‘Y56 5G’ smartphone in the country that sports a 50-megapixel Super Night camera. The new smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and is available for purchase across the official e-store and all partner retail stores, the company said in a statement.
It comes in two color variants – Orange Shimmer and Black Engine.
The new Y56 5G features a 6.58-inch FHD+ display and packs a 5,000mAh battery.
Yogendra Sriramula, Head of Brand Strategy, Vivo India, said, “Vivo Y56 5G is the first 5G device in the Y-series to enter the sub-Rs 20,000 segment. With Vivo Y56, we want to reach out to an even larger audience and provide them with the latest want to give an opportunity to experience the techniques.
For security, the phone has a side fingerprint scanner along with face wake feature for quick and efficient unlocking.
The new device comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup that houses a 50MP main camera and a 2MP Bokeh camera and also has a 16MP front camera.
Further, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700, a 5G chipset clocked up to 2.2GHz.
It also comes with Ultra Game Mode that promises to “provide an indulgent sensory experience during immersive gaming”.
The all-new 56 runs on the latest Funtouch OS 13 which is based on the Android 13 platform. The new Funtouch OS 13 operating system brings new personalization options, security upgrades and easy-to-use features for a smooth, seamless experience, the company said. “(IANS)
