Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in an event organized at the Mysore Fort in Karnataka on the occasion of International Yoga Day. This year’s Yoga Day is being organized under the name ‘Yoga for Humanity’. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that yoga reflects the diversity and uniqueness of India. He said yoga is now worldwide with the cooperation of the United Nations and the international community. The Prime Minister thanked the United Nations on the occasion for recognizing yoga. “I see photos of yoga coming from all over the world. These are about self-realization. The passion behind yoga is unparalleled,” he said. Modi hopes that yoga will become a way of life to achieve balance, stability and fitness in physical and mental emotions. He commented that it unites the body and the mind and controls thoughts and actions, enhances restraint in the person and promotes harmony between man and nature. “Currently, yoga has spread to all corners of the world. Yoga gives self-confidence. Yoga is not limited to the individual. It is useful for all human beings. Yoga brings peace to society, the nation, the world and the universe. Yoga is not just a part of our lives today. Yoga now Is becoming a way of life .. the whole universe starts from our body and soul .. the universe starts from us .. yoga makes us aware of everything in us .. raises the sense of awareness .. contributes to establishing peace in the nations of the world .. also practiced yoga in the corona disaster .. currently international Yoga has become a bridge for cooperation, ”said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
