A young man who identifies himself on TikTik as @viajandoconadrian uploaded a video of a few seconds and has gone viral because he comments that he is working in Switzerland as a dishwasher.
In the publication he explains what his tasks are and what earn $3,750 dollars, about $70,000 Mexican pesosmuch more than what a professional with university and postgraduate studies can earn in Mexico.
That professional studies are not enough to receive sufficient salaries in Latin American countries is one of the arguments why the new generations they don’t want to waste time in schools if they can earn much more money in other countries doing tasks that do not require much knowledge.
@viajandoconadrian accompanies his video with the following message: “Switzerland, in addition to having incredible landscapes, has very good salaries! It is worth clarifying that it is also an expensive country, but you can still save a lot!”.
The tiktoker narrates that in that country you can work in two seasons, both in summer and winter and that you only need to have a permit from the European Union (L permit) for any company to hire you and you can stay to work as long as you agree with them.
@viajandoconadrian acknowledges that it is hard work but that it is bearable and that the salary is quite motivating because it even allows you to save.
The post has a large number of views and has aroused the interest of many young people who are attracted to pay, ask what is required and are more than ready to get started.
Others who have lived in the country say that that salary is very low because the standard of living is very expensive in Switzerland and there is hardly any money left to “buy a soda”.
It is not the first time that this kind of work arouses the interest of many young people, as other videos of people who work as delivery men, babysitters, in construction or in fast food restaurants, ensure that they earn more in developed countries than working even as teachers in their own Latin American nations.
