Nellore: Manikanda Reddy (28) hails from Thulur, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh. He used to run a juice shop in Kandukur area. Last Tuesday night, while returning home after closing the shop, Manikanda saw a snake snake behind the bus station and begged him to put the snake around his neck.
But Bambatti did not agree to it. However, Manikanda insisted that he would continue to pay. He begged, ‘I will take only one selfie, please leave the snake on my neck for a minute.’
Manikanda took a selfie with the snake around his neck. Then when he tried to take the snake back from his shoulder, it accidentally touched Manikanda.
He screamed and was taken to the Ongole Government Medical Center in an ambulance. But he died on the way. Khandukur police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
