The NDA has officially declared its support for candidate Draupadi Murmu in the presidential election. The party welcomes the opportunity to field a tribal woman as a presidential candidate for the first time in the history of India. The YSRCP made the announcement just hours before filing its nomination in the presidential election. CM Jagan will also participate in the Murmu nomination function on Friday. As soon as this issue came out .. everyone knew that YSRCP would support the NDA alliance candidate. With CM Jagan on a visit to Delhi, the Cabinet meeting scheduled for Friday has been canceled. The meeting was originally scheduled for June 22 but was postponed to Friday. When it comes to the presidential election, the Biju Janata Dal, already from Odisha, has also announced its support for Draupadi Murmu’s candidature. The strength of the BJP candidate has further increased with the recent announcement of support by the YSRCP. Before announcing the BJP candidate, former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha was finalized as the joint candidate of the opposition. Opposition parties are meeting under the auspices of Trinamool Congress and NCP chief Sharad Pawar to select a presidential candidate. Mamata Banerjee has also written a letter to YSRCP chief Jagan asking him to attend the meeting. But he stayed away from this meeting. If YSRCP announces support for Murmu’s candidature .. Opposition TDP is also likely to declare support for her candidature. It is known that the TDP is trying to get closer to the BJP. Meanwhile, it has become interesting what decision TRS chief KCR will take in Telangana. Despite Mamata Banerjee’s invitation, KCR stayed away as the Congress also attended the meeting.
