The Saudi Mobile Telecommunications Company, “Zain Saudi Arabia”, announced the recommendation of its board of directors to distribute cash dividends to shareholders for the fiscal year 2022, with a total of about 449.36 million riyals, for the number of dividend-bearing shares, 898.73 million shares.
“Zain Saudi Arabia” said in a statement on “Tadawul Saudi Arabia”, today, Sunday, that the share of the share from the distribution is 0.5 riyals per share, with a distribution ratio to the nominal share value of 5%.
The eligibility of the cash dividends will be for the shareholders who own the shares on the due date and who are registered in the company’s shareholder register with the Securities Depository Center Company “Edaa” at the end of the second trading day following the day of the company’s general assembly, which will be announced later.
The distribution date will be announced later, after the General Assembly approves this recommendation.
The net profit of the Saudi Mobile Telecommunications Company, “Zain Saudi Arabia”, increased by 157% in 2022, to about 550 million riyals, compared to 214 million riyals in 2021.
