The UAE Badminton Federation announced the organization of sporting events at the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah, on the fifth of next July, coinciding with World Badminton Day.
The events include organizing a local tournament for different segments of society, including citizens and residents, and other accompanying events that keep pace with the importance of the occasion.
On the other hand, the Federation’s scheduled agenda witnesses the school games finals, today, at Expo Dubai, the Unified Sports League at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center on May 21 and 22, and the Emirates Education Foundation Badminton Championship “National Finals” at Al Mizhar Hall in Dubai on May 22. Followed by the All-Under-17 State Championship on May 25 in Dubai. For her part, President of the UAE Badminton Federation, Noura Al Jasmi, praised the role of the National Olympic Committee in all development programs and cooperation with the General Sports Authority in organizing the World Badminton Day activities at the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah.
